Neptune Marine Surveys & Services, Inc., established in 1990, is a marine surveying and consulting services firm that has certifications in cargo as a Certified Marine Surveyor through National Association of Marine Surveyors and container inspections as a Certified Container Inspector through the Institute of International Container Lessors. Additionally, we work in disciplines covering hull and machinery, on/off charter, physical damage inspection, repair liaison, salvage representation, loss mitigation, incident response, out turn & stow inspections, condition & valuation, ultrasonic gauging, barge draft calculations and accident investigation.

Edward F. Opp has worked with Neptune Marine Surveys & Services, Inc. since January 1996. Ed has extensive experience in the machine tool industry and is also a member of the International Association of Marine Investigators and International Association of Arson Investigators.  Ed has been certified as a Fire Investigator, Marine Accident and Incident Investigator and is a licensed private investigator.
